AnyDice Users 2010
browsers and OSs
I'm always curious about what browsers and operating systems people are using, so here are some numbers for AnyDice users! I have data from last year to compare to, but keep in mind that I only have data from the second half of 2009.
Operating Systems
People use Windows! Nothing new here. It's roughly an equal split between XP, Vista, and 7.
Then there's some Apple users – of which I'm one – followed by a little love for Linux.
There's also a smattering of other stuff, including some visits from iOS and Android devices.
Browsers
People use Firefox! Neat huh? Despite most people using Windows, by now Internet Explorer gets only 12% of the browser pie.
Google's Chrome climbed up to 20%, at the expense of IE and Firefox. Let's see where that goes.
Safari remained steady, with about one out of five users running Safari on Windows instead of on OS X.
Opera is not on the pie because it is insignificant. It can claim about half of the "other" share.
